Full Description:
This dynamic "Applied Wine Theory" course offers a practical and engaging exploration of wine. Through real-world scenarios, participants will engage in a guided discussion to identify optimal wine pairings. Each wine "solution" will be thoroughly deconstructed through a guided tasting, examining its flavor, structure, and suitability for the given scenario, while connecting components to their source (grape, region, climate).
Faculty Bio:
Yannic Dozier
Yannic is a highly credentialed wine professional with over a decade of experience in the Wichita wine industry. He holds certifications as a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET Level 3 in Wine, and Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators. As the Sommelier at First Mile Kitchen in Bradley Fair and CEO of the Beverage and Hospitality Educators of Wichita Non-Profit Group, Yannic brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his wine education classes, aiming to make the world of wine accessible to the Wichita community.

Please plan to enter through the main entrance @ 124 S. Broadway Ave. We will have staff directing participants to the Cargill Culinary Theatre. Outside snacks are welcome! The construction of the new Biomedical Campus may impact available, on-street parking. Please see below for parking maps. The Block One parking garage is located directly next to NICHE and is also available for parking.
