This course empowers participants to become confident and informed advocates for themselves or loved ones in healthcare settings. Through real-world scenarios and guided practice, attendees will learn how to ask clear, focused questions that lead to better understanding, stronger communication, and improved outcomes.

Faculty Bio:
Marie Fiebach-Long

Marie Fiebach is a Community Liaison for Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. Harry Hynes is a nonprofit hospice serving South Central and South East Kansas for over 40 years. Marie came to hospice after working for her father in nonprofit cemeteries. She firmly believes that proper hospice care can bring comfort, support, and peace.
