Full Description: 
Please join us for our 2nd Annual Veterinary Community Continued Education Event. This event has seven hours of continued education, provided by a fantastic lineup of local RVTs. Topics will include equine nursing, emergency care, VTS pathways, and a discussion on the future of veterinary nursing in Kansas. All veterinary support staff are welcome to attend! Registration includes entry to a raffle for two Tanganyika All Inclusive Passes! Lunch will be provided as well as time with exhibitors. 

Faculty Bio: 
Amanda Hackerott 
Amanda Hackerott is a Registered Veterinary Technician and Program Director of the Veterinary Nursing program. Her background is primarily in emergency medicine and shelter medicine (about ten years combined). She has been teaching for the last ten years in vet tech education and enjoys training the future of veterinary nursing. Her favorites subjects in Veterinary Nursing are Anatomy & Physiology, Parasitology and Hematology. Amanda has a daughter, a cat, two frogs and a Chorkie. She enjoys reading nonfiction and loves musicals
