This course is designed to provide healthcare professionals with practical tools and strategies for self-care, focusing on physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Healthcare workers often face demanding, high-stress environments, which can lead to burnout, fatigue, and compassion fatigue. This course aims to equip healthcare professionals with evidence-based techniques and personalized strategies to help manage stress, prevent burnout, and maintain a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Participants will explore mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques, time management strategies, and approaches to improving emotional resilience, ensuring they can provide the best care to their patients while also caring for themselves.
Faculty Bio:
Dr. Chela Love
Dr. Chela Love, DNP had a dream of being in the healthcare industry as a child. Chela accomplished this goal and is a Doctoral prepared Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP) that provides primary care to individuals from ages 0-100 years old. She has enjoyed being a primary care provider for over 10 years.
Chela's goal is to see her patients healthy while taking minimal medications to maintain health through lifestyle modifications. Chela accomplishes this by giving each individual a tailored medical experience and spending time to educate her patients.
Chela received her Bachelors of Science from Wichita State University and her Masters of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University of St. Louis. Chela feels that being a medical provider is a ministry and loves serving those in need.
Chela is an entrepreneur at heart and comes from a family of entrepreneurs. She saw a need and filled it by establishing Love Clinic & Med Spa a Direct Patient care clinic & Medical Aesthetics practice. Chela’s passion is to give her patients access to excellent medical care and treatment.
Chela is a native of Wichita, KS and enjoys spending time with her husband Lamont, her children Kamau, Kingston and Lennox, serving at her church and traveling the world.
