Full Description:
This course equips business owners and marketing professionals with the tools and knowledge to develop a results-driven digital marketing strategy. You'll start with foundational insights into your business and market through SWOT and competitor analysis, identify your target audience, and craft strategic objectives aligned with your goals. Explore the marketing funnel to understand customer behavior and use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Hands-on exercises, including SWOT and competitor analysis templates sheets, ensure practical application. By the end of this course, you’ll have a clear, actionable digital marketing strategy tailored to your business needs.
Previous experience is not required to take this course. Those who complete the course will earn a certificate from WSU Tech. This course will not qualify for-credit, for degree seeking students. Course curriculum will be available to students until February 2026.
Faculty Bio:
Krissy Buck
Krissy Buck is a dedicated advocate for creating inclusive online and in-person communities. As the Program Director of ShockStarter, a student-led digital marketing agency, and as an educator at WSU Tech, she empowers her students with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage digital marketing for meaningful connections with their audiences and brands.
With a proven track record, Krissy previously served as the Chief Community Officer at QuiCC, a tech startup based in Wichita. During her time there, she successfully expanded QuiCC's user base to 77 countries in just ten months.
In addition to her professional roles, Krissy is the vice chair of Digital Wichita. This nonprofit organization educates Wichita's marketing and business community on the latest trends in digital marketing. Digital Wichita also hosts Social Media Day Wichita.
